One platform. From a report to the record.

StrayPaw connects animal reports, WhatsApp rescue workflows and care records, so residents, NGOs and cities work from the same information.

01

How one request moves.

Every part of StrayPaw is a step in one chain. A message on WhatsApp is where it starts.

  1. A report arrivesOn WhatsApp or the web: a photo, a place and what was seen. The reporter is never shown publicly.
  2. It becomes a caseAn organisation accepts it, and from then on someone owns it. The reporter sees when it is accepted.
  3. Care is recorded onceTreatment, sterilisation, vaccination and follow-ups are written to the case as the work happens.
  4. The animal keeps its historyEverything done lands on one StrayPaw ID, so the next team starts where the last one stopped.
  5. The map updatesThe area the animal lives in reflects the record, with unknowns drawn as unknown.
  6. The city sees the patternRequests, care and gaps add up area by area into a brief a municipal team can act on.
  7. The work becomes evidenceReports for partners and funders that name their sources and separate imported history from live work.

04

The rules it keeps.

  1. Unknown is not zeroA place with no records is not recorded, never no animals.
  2. Not examined is an answerSterilisation and vaccination have three states, not two.
  3. Someone owns every caseA report reaches a queue only when an organisation takes it on.
  4. Every figure names its sourceWhere a number does not exist, the page says so.
  5. Reporters stay privateThe animal is public. The person who reported it never is.
